Corrections and takedown requests
If a booking record on this site is wrong, outdated, sealed, expunged, or should be removed for another legal reason, use the takedown request form. Include the subject number from the profile page and as much detail as you can about why the record should change. We review every request.
Editorial and general questions
Questions about a county we do not yet cover, a broken page, or anything else:
We read every message. Replies usually go out within a few business days; during busy periods it can take longer.
Press
Journalists looking for aggregate booking statistics, county coverage notes, or a comment on how Alabama publishes jail data can reach the same address with “Press” in the subject line.
What we cannot do
- We cannot tell you whether a specific person is currently in custody faster than the county's own roster — we publish what the counties publish.
- We cannot give legal advice, recommend a lawyer, or intervene in a pending case.
- We cannot change a bond amount, a charge description, or a disposition. Those come from the originating agency.
